Business

British Parliament approved the creation of a new subsidiary business within British Nuclear Fuels plc. British Nuclear Group (BNG) became an international nuclear high technology group in nuclear site management and waste clean up. The group turned over of £2.1bn with 14,000 staff worldwide.

Mission

The UK Government wanted the option for BNG that BNG could be privatized with the ability to independently bid for contracts focused on all aspects of service in the nuclear world from the management of nuclear plants to the clean up of contaminated nuclear sites. BNG needed to transform with a commercial focus to change into a leading market-driven project contractor.

Executive Reporting

Reporting to the CEO with the mission to launch and establish the new business with a solid programme management and commercial frameworks supported by complex systems.

Deliverables

To support and deliver for the BNG CEO in establishment of this new company with robust and structured governance with fully tested operational processes enabling the business to compete as an independent contractor with the ability to specify, build, measure, cost control and deliver to timescales.
