Vodafone and Orange are forming a joint venture to outsource and consolidate their current radio access networks into one optimised UK network, realising substantial capex and opex savings to both companies.

Mission

To launch and establish a new JV company with robust and structured governance with fully tested operational processes enabling the business to compete as an independent contractor with the ability to specify, build, measure, cost control and deliver to timescales.

Executive Reporting:

To support and deliver for the Sharedran CEO and the Orange and Vodafone executive sponsors.

Deliverables

• Implementing the business plan, operating model and transition strategy;
• Execute the transition plan, moving the business from start up to an operational business;
• Support and mentoring the Orange and Vodafone corporate executive and senior management staff transferring into Newco’s new operating environment.
